Oof danger loses all customer data

how the hell do you even back up your gmail? Flickr, I can see not deleting stuff you've uploaded. But webmail? Calendar?

Gmail has the offline feature now (which seems to have disabled itself at least twice on my new computer - I'm not sure if it has something to do with the problems I have with my internet connection both at home and at the office) and of course Gcal can sync with your ical or whatever other local calendar program you have. I suppose you'll want to make sure it doesn't sync again after being deleted. But it's nice that those two have built in features now.

Yeah, I'm not sure that is meant to be a backup. And my gmail is often not that sync'd. I can only search mail up to a certain fairly recent date, for example. I should peek at those links nathan posted too...
